The River Mill, built in 1873, is located along the San Joaquin River in French Camp, California. Originally a processing mill for chicory to be used in coffee, it has seen many uses over the years. The owner purchased the property in 1972 and in the early 90’s, after extensive renovations, began offering The River Mill for conferences, seminars, luncheons, dinners and special occasions.

As you enter the landscaped grounds, you are greeted with peaceful gardens, a walkway lined with roses, crape myrtle and a variety of vegetation. Eight raised beds, framed with brick, are filled with sculptured privets with white lights and seasonal flowers. Massive native oak trees add to the atmosphere and provide cool shade.

From the open courtyard that provides entry into the 18,000 square foot brick building with a variety of rooms for dining, dancing and events. The Roasting Room and River Room with their spectacular fireplaces and tall barrel ceiling, stately Board Room, quaint Tasting Room, beautiful Winery Room, La Bodega, and Garden Room each provide their own unique ambiance and features for your event. A second story balcony in the courtyard overlooks a fountain in an alfresco setting.

A variety of menus have been designed for business and social functions. We offer sit-down served, buffet, food stations and hors d’oeuvres menus.

Facility includes use of designated space for four hours, tables, chairs, china, stemware, white linens, service staff, parking attendant, use of floral centerpieces and onsite coordination.
